Saint Spyridon was a humble shepherd from Cyprus who became a bishop in the 4th century. Known for his simplicity, kindness, and strong faith, he performed many miracles during his life, helping the poor and healing the sick. At the First Ecumenical Council, he defended the truth of the Christian faith with wisdom and divine grace. He is remembered as a gentle wonderworker and a protector of those in need.
